Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy describes the information Qualgevity collects, how that information is used, and the choices available to you. Please read this policy carefully before using the app.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and the username you choose. When you use the app, we collect information about the product scans you perform, the ratings you submit, and any product entries you add to the database.
We do not collect your full name, phone number, physical address, precise location, or any payment information.
We use the information you provide to display your activity on your profile, associate your ratings with your account, improve the accuracy and completeness of our product database, and send account-related communications such as email verification messages and password reset requests.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for targeted advertising.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database and infrastructure provider. By using Qualgevity, you acknowledge that your data is subject to Supabase's data handling practices in addition to our own. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Ratings you submit are associated with your account and contribute permanently to a product's quality score. Submitted ratings are retained in anonymized form even if your account is deleted, in order to preserve the integrity of product data on the platform.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. Upon deletion, your personal information, including your email address and username, will be removed from our systems to the extent reasonably practicable. Residual copies may persist in secure backups for a limited period before being purged. Anonymized rating data may be retained indefinitely in order to preserve the integrity of existing product quality scores.
Qualgevity is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information from our systems.
Qualgevity uses Supabase as its backend data provider. This is the only third-party service with access to user data. We do not integrate with advertising networks, analytics brokers, or data resellers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the app or via email. Continued use of Qualgevity following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
